This wedding was incredible, an amazing way to start my 2015 year. Coralie and Steve are two of the most genuine people I have ever met. Their faith in God, care for their friends and family, and love for each other really make them special. Their engagement session was AMAZING! These two smouldered in each other and their chemistry is undeniable so you could imagine their wedding was no different. I had Shawn by my side, it’s so great to have a second shooter getting all those extra angles and emotions! I asked Coralie a couple of questions after the wedding, it’s neat to hear the couple look back on one of the most memorable days of their lives.
Coralie is stunning, look at her amazing dress.
This little purse was so special, it was made from her mothers wedding dress.
I wanted to know what Coralie thought when she saw Steve for the first time…. “When I saw my husband-to-be for the first time, it was pretty surreal. I was trying to process the fact that we were about to get married. He looked SO handsome and I was SO glad to be beside him finally, holding his hand, as his wife-to-be on our wedding day.”
I also wanted to know Steve’s first reaction… here’s what he said to his beautiful bride… “You look absolutely beautiful.”
I love how C had her parents in a locket that she kept on her bouquet. ♥
This house was amazing! This room in particular was my fav…
I’m so in love with this orchard….
This is my favourite girls photos to date! How cute is C?
Favourite photo of the day!
I turned around and they gave me this in 2 seconds… LOL
Spring is SO gorgeous and these magnolia trees were the perfect end to our photos. Aren’t they gorgeous all together!
I asked her what her best detail was…. “My favourite detail was probably the tin cans I made. I’d antiqued pages from a physics textbook (for Stephen, the physics/math teacher), maps of places we’d both travelled to and want to travel to, and sheet music (for me, the singer and music lover) and then mod podged them onto soup and tomato cans that would hold pencils and flowers as part of the table centrepieces. I didn’t really realize how big of a project I was doing when I decided to do it but I’m very happy with how they turned out.”
From C “My favourite part of the wedding was having almost all the people I love the most in one place.”
From Coralie and Steve… “We’re the most excited about not having to part ways anymore after we say good night and waking up beside each other the next morning.”
